Content

The lecture is building up on the basics tought in the module "Metal Forming" and deepens the content. The processing of modern light weight materials like high strength steel, aluminium or titanium is focussed as well as technologies like tailored blanks or hot stamping. In addition different aspects of numerical process design and up to date trends and ideas from research and development like e.g. additive manufacturing are discussed within the lecture.
