Doctorate by Dr.-Ing. Barbara Hansen

On Friday October 25th, 2024, Dr.-Ing. Barbara Hansen successfully completed her doctorate with a convincing presentation and the subsequent Rigorosum. Her presentation on the essential content of her dissertation with the title “Method for taking into account fluctuations in the tribological properties of semi-finished products for the forming production of body parts in the series process” made it clear what challenges the industry faces due to fluctuations. It also showed how to respond to them using the the possibilities of modern data acquisition and evaluation in a well-founded manner. Afterwards the success was celebrated with a small snack.
