Promotion Manuel Reck

Dr.-Ing. Manuel Reck summarized the results of his dissertation entitled “Fundamental process understanding for the production of components with textured surfaces using micro-embossing” on November 14th. in a successful lecture. He then answered remaining questions from the examining board. The grade “very good” was the well-deserved reward for all the hard work. Everyone is now eagerly awaiting the further use of the process window for the single-stage forming production of microstructured surfaces. The still open questions formulated provide scope for follow-up projects. For once, however, these were not at the forefront of discussions at the final ceremony.
