Metal Forming

From September 16th to 18th, 2024, two LFT employees took part in the renowned Metal Forming Conference at the Kraukau AGH University of Science and Technology. The conference began ceremoniously with the appearance of a traditional "Hejnal" trumpet player and then offered exciting lectures from research and industry. The focus was on the latest developments in forming technology and their numerical modeling, with a particular focus on sustainability.

The LFT was represented by two specialist lectures. The topics included the efficient production of lightweight gears and the potential of lubricant-reduced forming - both pioneering approaches for more sustainable production. In addition to the scientific exchange, an elegant dinner in Przegorzały Castle and a historical city tour of Krakow rounded off the program and offered the opportunity to get to know the impressive history of the city.
